Caprese salad is one of my favorites and can usually be found on our dinner tables by someone in our family. For this Christmas, I was inspired by an episode of The Pioneer Woman. In her recipe, she put the salad on skewers. Instead of the standard skewer sticks, she used rosemary branches. I love this idea! Put together it and it looks so festive. The green of the rosemary adds great texture and color. It smells good too.
- Mozzarella balls
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Sat & Pepper
- Balsamic Vinegar
Separate your rosemary branches. Remove leaves to make it easier to skewer the cheese and tomatoes. Chop up your basil and sprinkle on the tip. Finish off with a little salt & pepper. I put my balsamic vinegar on the side. Plate and enjoy!
